I know Anchoress (as in, know her site) and she has that disease.

There’s a Jewish variant where you’re not observant, but consider yourself a better Jew than any ‘liberal’ Jews, and hang around with Christian fundamentalists, complimenting them for being better than ‘liberal’ Christians, and getting strokes for being such a kick-ass fighter for Israel.
