we do not have this level of infiltration, partly because of the geography but mostly because illegals are frowned upon by the Hispanic community here…New Mexicans are very proud of their struggles to get here legally and bring their families in legally, a 160 year old tradition…fence jumpers and line cutters are very much not welcome here

Didn’t many New Mexicans just stay still and let the border move over them?
