Speaking of printers, my is STILL stalling. Ya’ll suggested about a month or so ago that I check my paper. I did. It was copier paper. I bought and started using a ream of printer paper, and it was just fine for a few weeks. Now, it’s stalling again. The HELP advice is to clear the jam. There is no jam.

Short of taking it out to the range and slapping a target on it, is there anything else I can do?

Seriously - get a new one.
And, don’t take the wrapper completely off your paper, and keep the paper in a drawer. The wrapper helps keep moisture out, just take what you need and fold the wrapper back over the paper.
