Ditto here in Germany, because everyone has a registered place of residence. You just go down to the local polling station with you ID (mandatory for all citizens) and they check your name off the list.

So who is in favor of mandatory ID and registered address for all US citizens (and a similar requirement for all legal resident aliens)?
