OK…..got back from Mad Max: Fury Road.

And it was indeed 4 out of 4 stars. Very well done film, with (as other have noted) a feminist undercurrent.

Well written. Well acted (especially Charlize Theron, who’s created the greatest ass-kicker since Linda Hamilton in T2 - and she owned this film), stuntwork that puts pretty much every recent action film in the shade and stunning editing and cinematography. Aside from the anarchic action scenes, there are some genuinely emotionally resonant moments in the film.

George Miller is back, showing the kids how it’s done.

How was Hardy as Max?
