re: #306 Feline Emperor of the Conservative Waste

Not bad today. Helps that I will be off for the rest of the week.

Feline Overlord is taking antibiotics currently. He scraped his chin up a few weeks back and now has a deep acne infection thing going in a few spots where it didn’t quite heal up cleanly. Not bothering him too much, but the vet prefers to go that route considering his age. Cat is also still slowly shedding weight and is down to 8lbs. Not sure anything can be done to really help that since he pretty much gets all the food he wants to eat currently. (Could probably simply cook him chicken every night and watch him stuff himself as compared to using cat food.)

Try chicken or other meat once or twice a week. But more important may be finding a way to get the cat exercise to help him retain muscle mass. This is important, but difficult given the independent nature of cats.
