I was very careful voting this afternoon. I took more than enough ID. Turns out I needed my registration card, passport and mail with my address on it just to enter the polling place. Needed the registration card and passport to get my voting slip.

Our Dear Leader passed a ‘Fair Elections Act’, which like all ‘conservative’ voting measures was meant to keep the wrong people from voting.

For comparison, during the last election here in the wild north country, I didn’t even have to show ID. I merely cross-checked my address they had on file with my current address and received a voting number which I exchanged for a ballot. Easy as pie.
