(Embedded content) Obama should use ‘white welfare rancher’ the way Reagan used ‘black welfare queen’ because, this time, it would be true.

I’ve seen incredible estimates, e.g. $35 / pound, of how much beef would cost without government subsidies in the meat industry. I just Googled “cost of meat federal subsidies” (no quotes), and there are some interesting hits.

I’m happy to be a pesca-vegetarian and not support this monstrous industry.
