If your students are in the vicinity of Shoshoni, Wyoming have them stop by the Shoshoni Drugstore for a real American treat. The Shoshoni Drugstore makes the best milk-shakes I’ve ever had. Whole milk and real ice cream blended so thick you need a spoon to enjoy it. Their shakes are so thick it’s impossible to suck it up with a straw. A real surprise out in the middle of nowhere in Wyoming!

Thanks for the tip, but they’re now in Buffalo.

I had heard of the Shoshoni Drugstore, now that you mention it. Slipped my mind till now, though.

My student, Lily, was originally supposed to work in Lander. That job went sour after a week, so she found work in Buffalo but the trick was how to get to Buffalo from Lander. There is a bus, but it stops in Shoshoni and takes eons to reach Buffalo because it either passes through Billings or Denver on the way.

Anyway, she got to her destination. Her classmate Jacob somehow ended up in Sheridan and had to wait for another bus to reach Buffalo. It’s been a learning experience for both of them.
