re: #267 Dark_Falcon

I don’t believe the State Department or the administration can be trusted to call Iran out for violations. They’ve got too much invested in a deal to see it fall apart, and I believe forcing their hands on this will let Iran know we mean business.

I also think the presidency has gotten too powerful, and I want it cut down a bit. I’m prepared to accept a nuclear Iran in order to do this.

The amount of insanity in this post almost defies description:

1) I’m sure from 2001 to 2008, you were quite comfortable with the amount of power the Executive Branch grabbed. The perfect example of IOKIYAR: It’s Okay If You’re A Republican.

2) You are endorsing the Republicans actively destroying the President’s attempts at diplomacy; powers which IIRC the fucking Constitution grants him. Nice to see your comfortable with borderline treason, as long as your party benefits politically.

3) You want a nuclear Iran so you can thumb Obama and Kerry in the eye. Basically, you want war. Because enough people haven’t died via US fighting in the Middle East over the last twelve years.

If you’re one of the “sane, moderate” Republicans, this country is fucked.
