The ‘no fly / no buy’ bill would not reduce the murder rate by even 1%. The vast majority of what are being described as mass shootings (as opposed to mass murders) are not ‘active shooter’ type attacks but instead are gang violence over turf, drugs, and perceived slights. The demanded bill would not effect that type of violence at all.

And you know this how? Have you got a crystal ball? Really, we’ve been doing what you want on guns for years now and guess what, we still have masses of gun violence. Maybe maybe just maybe your approach to gun violence isn’t the answer.
