Just a cursory exploration and you can find some of the approved buildings are greater than 10,000 sq feet buildings. I can’t imagine how vacant/open the city is going to appear once they are finished.

Several years ago someone had the brilliant idea to establish “urban farms” on cleared lots in Detroit.

Sadly, they found out that nothing would grow in the soil which was poisoned by decades of industrial seepage.

A few small lots did have some success once they planted on platforms and loaded soil trucked in from elsewhere in Michigan and Canada.
