I don’t think I’m sanctimonious, I think I’m opinionated and considered.

You made a statement. I disagreed. I’m sorry if I misconstrued it as part of the back and forth we were having and that’s why I made the subsequent point that I didn’t see anyone here making that argument. Further, I think the statement is incredibly vague. You were making the tacit implication that the people who aren’t agreeing with you here are the ones who agree with your declaration and I, frankly, think that doesn’t begin to hold water.

Further, when you make a statement like “it’s clear that…” but you provide no reasoning or evidence behind it then it is fair to say that the statement can be refuted. I don’t believe that it’s clear he has done more to divide than unite on race, I think he, personally, hasn’t taken the bait that has been dangled in front of him.

Just yesterday he said Carter was wrong for making just such a statement, no?
