post the Giffords shooting, the AZ Lege wouldn’t allow bills regarding magazine restrictions, semi-automatic bans, background checks to the floor to be debated, much less voted on, but managed to pass a bill regarding the designation of a state handgun. Jan is the Governor that kicked a hundred people off of the state run AHCCESS health plan’s transplant list so she could render repairs to the America West Arena (Home of the Phoenix Suns!) and reopen the Federal Rest Stops with the stimulus money discretionary funds.

Arizona is amongst the elite in Republican idiocy, along with Kansas, South Carolina, Texas and Mississippi….although your own personal rankings may vary :-)
