The thing about the UK fans is that they would have done the same thing if the team had won.
Lexington, KY, may be the only city that consistently bans sofas in the street on game days because sofas are historically what gets set on fire.
In recent years, the bad behavior keeps escalating. Everyone knows it’s going to happen and I’ve come to the conclusion that local authorities just let it happen, making half-hearted efforts to arrest those caught in the act of damaging property.
It’s really pathetic that it’s allowed to continue, and even more shameful that it’s excused.
