Yeah…..there’s also a lot of nostalgia for the “good old days” here too (i.e., communism). Zeman knows how to appeal to that as well.

It’s ironic that in the former Eastern bloc, conservatives can sell the communist era as a plus. Sergey has talked about this a little before with the Communist Party of Russia retaining Marxist ideology but relying on Soviet nostalgia and social conservative ideology.
