For wine? Experimenting in the lower price ranges can be risky. I don’t have very discerning taste but some of the shit is just gross. I stick with the reds (merlot, Cab Sav, etc) Barefoot and Yellowtail are widely available, affordable and drinkable.
Drinking Yellowtail as a fine red wine in like drinking a Bud in a micro brewery.
