In 2010, Christie dismisses the state supreme court’s only black judge. Never been done before under the state’s current constitution (although it’s within his rights).

Democrats in the Senate go ballistic and refuse to confirm Christie’s noms for that seat.

On August 12th of this year, Christie yanks one of his judges who’s up for a lifetime court seat, when it’s clear the Dems are going to rake her over the coals. Her husband is a member of Christie’s office.

On August 13th, Bridget Kelly says it’s time for traffic problems in Fort Lee.

Who represents Fort Lee in the 37th district in NJ? Loretta Weinberg, leader of the Senate Democrats.

Interesting. Maybe Maddow’s wrong. Entirely possible.

As I said above, people thought she was full of shit for pursuing the GWB story in the first place. So there’s that.
