Ah ha! Correction - Halliburton and KBR split in 2007. So “Halliburton” on that report would actually be KBR. Halliburton is still in the oilfield service business. That’s the Halliburton I’m familiar with, from seeing their red-and-gray trucks (mainly mud-pumping trucks) in East Texas, when I was a kid, visiting my grandparents.

Kellogg and Brown & Root (the KBR part) also have their roots in the oil patch.

I did business with Halliburton in Iraq. They were the cleanest/straightest/strictest buyers I’ve ever dealt with. The dudes would not accept common courtesy gifts (sticky pads, business card holders etc) much less accept any lunch of dinner invitation.
