The quotation marks are eye. The parentheses form the body. Each t is an arm, bent at the elbow and giving the finger.

Well, that’s not very creative. My symbol %^&*$% makes more sense…the percent signs are elves, the ampersand a hobbit, the up-carat a wizard, the dollar sign a magnet and the asterisk is an asterisk. It means “beetlejuice” when read aloud.
