Ah yes, the “competing theories” line of bullshit, which always tries to cloak itself in the veneer of scientific “skepticism,” but really comes off as little more than trying to sneak in creationism as an “alternative” to evolution.

The bolded is my personal favorite, as I wonder if these snake-handlers think this is something exclusive to evolution. Is there some competing theory to Einstein’s theories on general relativity and special relativity?

Atheism? What are they going to bring up Einstein’s views on atheism? Or others. What the heck do I care if a scientist whom I respect was a Christian. What about Werner Von Braun and the race to the moon? Are we supposed to teach science class and then start bringing up the Nazi SS? This is like the flip side of the PC coin.
