I’m a little suspicious of the “anti-2 state” thing. The Palestinians already have their own state. They hold elections, they have a flag and issue passports, collect taxes, etc. They are failing at it but they already have a state. We should end financial aid to the Palestinians but Rudy was our only hope for that and it’s unlikely that even he would have ended it. There’s no chance of American soldiers being sent to enforce peace. There’s very little chance the UN or Eu would volunteer soldiers to become targets for the Palestinians.
I think I’m missing the nuance here but what is the alternative to a Palestinian state in Gaza and the West Bank? Are we talking about those territories being annexed by Israel?
