I guess when I think of conservative I think of people on the spectrum between Goldwater and Eisenhower. But I’m probably falling victim to the No True Scotsman logical fallacy. If the lunatic fringe is the majority of folks who claim the mantle of conservatism, I shouldn’t argue.
