Here, that would be cast as weak liberal bedwetting, by some of the people I’m talking about.

I get you think that, but I question whether that is the majority of conservative Christians in the states.

I’m responding to this view:
If by “more love” I do hope you don’t mean more abuse, violence, threats of estrangement, and forced conformity to narrow, exclusionary social norms.

Because that is all conservative Christian shove “love” is. There is nothing more to it than that. Conservative Christians are addicted to it.



It could be a minority where you are, but consider that this is a thread that was, at one point, about Sarah Palin.

Our religious history is also different than .au’s.

Minorities of every stripe also have equal rights here, as they/we should. The ones who have put conservative Christian so-called “values” into their party platform are gunning for more than equal rights, they are demanding special rights for themselves, only.

Conservatives have a long history of this, here.

But are the ones who put it in the party platform the majority of conservative Christians.
If so, where do your numbers come from?
