I know. I’ve seen it happen, in the same way that Alan Grayson is trying to make a comeback next year. Between Grayson and Weiner, though, I’d much prefer if Weiner was able to make a comeback. There ought to be a place in politics for liberals like Weiner, but not for those who, like Grayson, authorize Breitbart-style video hackjobs.

How generous of you to acknowledge that urban liberals deserve a voice too.

Weiner will probably come back, just as Spitzer and Mark Sanford have.

The only one who probably won’t make a comeback soon is John Edwards, whose wife was so well liked that he won’t be forgiven soon. Unlike Newt, who did the exact same thing, but a long time ago to someone who was unknown. I guess Mark Foley may have a tough time making a comeback; indiscretions with underage boys usually turn the public off for good.
