My decision to continue to mask in the office even though masks became optional today confirmed when I found out the coworker across the hall from me is home with covid. She is vaccinated, so I hope it will remain a mild case.

I wouldn’t go into an office. They announced that my office was reopening, claiming it’s now safe, and I was thinking about taking some time off and spending my 401K when my manager told me we don’t have to come in.
