Actually, I don’t have any personal feelings about the guy either way.

I did like the way he handled the Gulf War, what with getting full U.N. approval beforehand, limiting our presence there so as not to inflame the region, and setting clear goals for a prompt and effective exit strategy. But that’s only in comparison to the later Iraq invasion; prior to 2001, all that stuff was considered normal and necessary for any war.
