Actually, a comparison could be rather apt. When Clinton (as much as I detest him) had legal troubles in office, he stayed as POTUS instead of stepping down. Unlike Palin, when he failed to finish his term as governor, it was because he won election for a higher office (President).

You know- probably not so good to compare and contrast with Bubba because it makes him look good- and how often does that happen?!
