I gave up on the beer traps. It really pissed me off to watch a slug drink his fill and slink away. I watched it happen too many times and if I’m going to buy beer I want to drink it instead of giving it to slugs.

You must be dealing with slugs from a hard-drinkin’ state. Our Bama slugs have been weakened by generations of prohibitionist preachers.

(Got a Big Lots flyer today that has a 300 gal “swimming pool” for $30. It is shaped like an army blivet, and looks like it would catch rainwater for a couple years of seasonal use.)
