I (shocked as I am to say it) Glenn Beck is only a symptom, he would not be on the air (doubtlessly not on Rupert Murdoch’s personal money machine, AKA Fox) if he wasn’t able to pick up enough viewers to make Murdoch money.

The only reason Glenn has a show is because he’s finding a need and he’s supplying what people with that need want.

Which makes me feel very very sad about America…

Cheer up, it’s no different now than it ever was. Probably better now, actually. But now we have the internet to give a voice to every screeching monkey with a PC and a keyboard.
