Did any of the “American Exceptionalism” speakers mention that it is our laws (property rights, licenses to practice, equal opportunity, defense of property, limited governmental controls), their enforcement (rather equally to all, taxation not graft, honest public servants, etc), and a relatively healthy infrastructure (clean water to drink, contained sewage, public mail that generally works, access to health care, neighbors that are not usually desparate or wicked, etc), that allows Americans the opportunity to and the belief that they can do exceptional things?
Not that we are genetically better. Just fortunate.
And hopefully wise enough to provide the same advantages to our descendants, and to others, as possible.
Just Wondering. I haven’t been able to listen.

Thanks.
