What aspect of their personalities would you ascribe such irrational behavior to? I would ascribe it to prejudice.

Racism may be a form of xenophobia, but I don’t think it works the other way around. Methinks you are using the term “racist” too loosely. This is one issue in particular that has always irked me about some on the left, the constant misuse of “racist” and “racism.”

Do you really want to put yourself in a position of defending extremists who think the president isn’t even an American Christian? Knock yourself out.

I am not defending them in the least, I am merely defending language and logic. If the term racist can be used to mean someone I don’t like, then the term is useless.

The president is an American Christian, end of story.
