Dont know where this happened but heard on the radio this morning

86 yr old man witnesses armed robbery, prevented others from going into business. All good, but then chased the suspect and started shooting in crowded urban area. Cops (who were in pursuit) had to duck his bullets. He was legal with CCW. They didn’t charge him, but damn! He could have killed a pedestrian or a policeman.

I get a lot of gun types pissed off when I say that playing John Wayne is the stupidest thing a CCW holder can do. “But you gotta help!” No, you don’t. All you do is risk getting you or other innocents dead. Stay put and defend, if necessary, yourself and those around you.
