A Jefferson Davis monument east of Phoenix was tarred and feathered a couple of days ago.

For those of you in Arizona, the monument is located at the three-way intersection of US60 and Peralta Rd. in Gold Canyon.

I might go out there tomorrow morning just to see what it looks like now. For the record, here’s the plaque memorializing the battle of Picacho Peak.
