It’s the firearms.
Gun massacres, though high profile, aren’t the biggest tragedy of America’s cult of human sacrifice. It’s the thousands of deaths in ones and twos, of kids killing each other with handguns and rifles and shotguns found around the home, of law-abiding people pulling their law-abiding firearms in a fit of rage or confusion and shooting each other deliberately or by mistake in a totally law-abiding fashion.
It’s always the firearms.
I have to disagree with you on the “always the firearms” part: it is much more a matter of the nearly unlimited access, the lack of liability laws for owners and dealers and the absence or non-enforcement of reasonable laws involving sale and handling of firearms.
