I visited there a few years ago, and it’s a great town (anything smaller than NYC where I grew up is a town - heh). The music scene is so vibrant and visiting during the summer meant just walking outside you got exposed to every kind of music you could think of and Broadway/2d Street corridor is rocking in normal times.

It’s very much an international city as compared to just a few miles away where you get quite rural and deep red. Music industry has much to do with the cosmopolitan nature and influx of people from around the world.
