Hispanic refers to a linguistic group, not a racial group. One can be Hispanic and also be Black, White, Asian or some other or mixed race.

Like Hila Levy, the first Puerto Rican to win a Rhodes Scholarship. As you might imagine from the name, she’s Jewish.
