I am very confident that Trump is so toxic that Hillary will defeat him easily. That is why I would prefer Trump is the GOP nominee over Cruz. She’ll beat Cruz as well, but the GOP will keep the House and possibly the Senate. With Trump as the nominee, the Democrats will not only probably win the Senate, they might gain a majority of the House as well, enabling them to do more than merely protect the gains of the last seven years.

At the end of the day Trump and Cruz are both so utterly toxic that trying to discern which is worse is an academic exercise at best.
