I feel like we took two steps forward (Obama’s 2 terms), and now one step off the roof. I felt like history started going backwards, but you’re right, forward it goes. I remember my brother (who lives in Berlin, but was visiting here) said to the Bernie volunteer, when she said, ‘If he [Bernie] doesn’t win the primary, we need a violent revolution…’ my brother said, ‘History is long…’

My fear is that after those two steps forward, we go 10 steps back as Trump’s administration erases all the gains of the Obama terms and moreso. ACA gone, LGBT marriage threatened, Social Security wiped, etc. Not to mention making it official that Climate Change will be treated as a grand hoax by those with every single lever of power in this country.
