re: #326 Fozzie Bear

She thought Africa was a country. What makes you think anybody is underestimating her?

I did explain how the many reasons fitted together. A lot of people who know better misspeak. Does anyone seriously think that Obama really didn’t know how many states the U.S. has? Or maybe, far more likely, he was tired and the thought of steak drifted through his mind and with it, Heinz 57 sauce, and the words fifty seven just slipped out.

He knew better.

Palin HAS to have heard about the NKSK incident. Since she brought it up, she has to have heard about Obama’s reaction. And she thought it wasn’t a strong enough policy to “sanction” NK.

No one would use that phrase if what they meant was they wanted Obama to back NK.

It’s clear with a little sober reflection that THIS PARTICULAR gaffe is just a gaffe. As Freud once observed, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
