Not needs, but rather wants. Citizens do not have to claim necessity as a reason for wanting to own something, instead it is the government that must have a necessity as to why they should not do so.

Thanks, all I’d read was the article. Frankly, I don’t agree with the suit’s logic on the NFA. If the state of Illinois can charge sales tax on a book purchase, then the ATF charging a transfer tax for a sound suppressor can survive constitutional muster.
