In my book it doesn’t matter. Bah! Can any Lizard tell me, here and now, why a couple (gender neutral) can’t live together, procreate (or not) and provide economic protection to one another without Government interference?. It is that simple.

Marriage isn’t just religious in nature. Civil marriage is a contract between parties in which certain rights and obligations are shared. People don’t need to get married for some of these things, but marriage tends to make them easier and more clear.
