I’ve been thinking for a while, this is why the GOTP will never let one of the TP whackodoodles on the ticket, at least not in the president slot.

Maybe an unknown quantity like this new chap, but no Bachmanns, Palins, or other name-brand extremes.

It will bring every disgruntled, grumbling “primary Obama” so-called “progressives” out of the woodwork and into the polls. They need to do their best to get left voters to stay home.
