We used castor oil to counteract the stinging from Skydrol hydraulic fluid, along with milk. I wonder if castor oil would work with tear gas.

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly (before exposure)— 60s tech. Protects the skin route, doesn’t help the eyes or lungs.
