Georgetown only offers insurance, it does not require that students purchase through the school. Students are free to purchase the policy that best fits their needs.

Sure, they’re free to look for insurance outside of the school’s offered policy, but they have to receive a waiver and that is dependent on whether the policy they buy meets the school’s requirements.
