I’m fixing black-eyed peas ‘n’ ham and jalapeno corn muffins with honey butter. Traditional southern fare for luck on New Year’s Day. Not taking any unnecessary chances.

Better safe than sorry! And it sounds far more appealing than the pork and sauerkraut that used to be the traditional ‘thing’ when we lived in Lancaster Co. PA.
