I totally understand not wanting to let someone who was up until a year ago or whatever a citizen of another country be president. But surely if you became a citizen before 18, who cares?

Why do we need a law or constitutional restriction on that? Why not just let the voters determine what is or isn’t a deal breaker? I mean, under things currently you could be born in the U.S., leave the country while you are one day old, live in another country for 60 years without any interaction with Americans, and then run for president.
