I remember an online conversation with someone who insisted that children of illegal immigrants must be deported. During the course of the discussion, I brought up the issue of heavily fining employers and giving them jail time for hiring illegal immigrants. She then made a comment about how she picks up day laborers to do work around her house, but in the same breath stated they all need to be deported. She simply couldn’t understand that she was part of the problem.
