My occasional proclivity for weird speculation leads me to wonder if Willard is even trying to win at this point. Has he suddenly started to doubt if he is up to the job? As a member of a much-vilified minority religion, is he alarmed about the numerous bigots and fundamentalist crazies in his camp and the markers they will hold if he is elected?
