The lone published exit poll I’ve seen had Capriles winning by 51.3 to 48.06, eyebrow raising but hardly outside the margin of error for exit polls. There is no absentee voting in Venezuela so US based expats had to drive to a consular city like New Orleans to cast a vote. It’s also reasonable to think that Chavez supporters were going to be poorer, younger and harder to poll. Venezuela is represented by a single time zone, so the quick reporting of results isn’t that surprising either. This doesn’t add up to an obvious case of fraud at this point.
